The Brit List: Britons to Bang 2012
#37: Christian Bale
He’s a little insane and insanely hot.
Only for Laurie (in Little Women) do I break my rule of disliking dubbing in favor of original performances with subtitles. Christian Bale’s voice makes Howl’s Moving Castle incredibly sexy.
#this ship is literally the most confusing damn thing to ever happen in my young life.#i firmly agree with jo; they’d be awful together if they got married. #and i love professor bhaer to pieces. #BUT WHY DO THEY GIVE ME FEELINGS.
^ALL OF THAT.
To be fair, turning down Laurie was no picnic for Jo, either. But it had to be done. And she and Professor Bhaer are lovely together.

Ah Laurie. Best character ever! Why couldn’t Christian Bale stay young and cute?

I just want his face on my dash right now.

Jo: If I weren’t going to be a writer, I’d go to New York and pursue the stage. Are you shocked?
Laurie: Very.

Jo: If only I were the swooning type!
Laurie: If only I were the catching type!

Were you born there?
